The Boeing Company is currently seeking a high performing Experienced Software Developer (Java Full Stack) to join the Manufacturing & Quality team within Information Technology & Data Analytics. 
 
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in the role of L3 (Level 3) Developer. As an L3 Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Estimate user stories/features (story point estimation) and tasks in hours with the required level of accuracy and commit them as part of Sprint Planning.
• Contributes to the Backlog refinement meetings by promptly asking relevant questions to ensure requirements achieve the right level of DOR.
• Works with the Product manager and owner to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality.
• Raise any impediments/risks they come across and approaches Scrum Master/Technical Architect/PO accordingly to arrive at a solution.
• Update the status and the remaining efforts for their tasks daily.
• Ensures change requests are treated correctly and tracked in the system, impact analysis done, and risks/timelines are appropriately communicated.
• Ability to independently execute & deliver on the backlog without dependency.
• Delivers working software in accordance with expected quality standards.
• Designs for testability: Design and evolve the system to support testability and test automation.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Excellent programming skills in the latest tools & technology frameworks like, Java/J2EE, NodeJS (Nice to have), Angular, HTML 5, CSS 3 JavaScript etc.
• Must have experience with Spring Framework, REST, JPA/Hibernate.
• Knowledge in RDBMS Systems, SQL scripting and querying, specifically with SQL Server 2016, Oracle 19c
• Experience in working in SQL Databases with ability to model and ability to write Stored Procedures - Postgres or MySQL or any other relational databases.
• Experience with Angular 8 and above
• Experience in automated test (Mock, Mockito etc.).
• Ability to understand API specifications.
• Experience in developing services (sync and async) using Microservices Architecture and Design patterns.
• Experience in Test Driven Development (JUnit/Karma)
• Strong work ethic, communication skills & good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to develop new and innovative applications as well as maintaining existing code.
• Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modelling is required.
• Ability to manage all software configuration items, installation, and cutover of the computing products within a given scope.
• Experience in ALM tools (Git, Ant, Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Azure, SonarQube, Ansible).
• Working exposure with Agile (Scrum) and DevOps is a must.
• Understanding and following secure coding guidelines (provided by Coverity, SonarQube etc.) and writing quality code. 
• Writing performant code, taking care of resource/object creation and disposal to ensure memory efficiency and safety.
• Should have demonstrated ability to work in AGILE environment. 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Understanding about Supplier Quality domain
• Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with Business, team members, peers, and partners to develop collaborative plans and complete projects.
• Cloud Experience in GCP/Azure/AWS
• Knowledge/experience in agile.

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 8 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
