Job Title: Customer Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)

Salary: £16,135.33

Location: Maven Veterinary Centre, Sutton

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Hours: 25.77 hours per week, 4-day working week.

Shifts: Monday to Friday- 6/6.5 hour Shifts between the hours of 7.30 and 20:30. 1:9 Weekends & 1:9 Saturdays: Full weekend (Time back in Lieu); Saturday 9:00 to 16:30 and Sunday 10:00 to 14:30.

We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our amazing team at Maven Veterinary Centre as a Client Care Assistant.

Our front-of-house teams are the face and voice of our business therefore, this role is extremely valued within the hospital team.

In this role, you will work closely with our clinical team to guarantee that our clients and patients receive top-quality service and care.

Roles and Responsibilities

The duties will involve, but are not limited to:

  • Initial client contact – answering incoming phone calls, greeting clients at the front desk.

  • Managing the diary - Booking appointments for consultations and surgery.

  • Processing client requests such as orders, repeat prescriptions and insurance claims.

  • Managing incoming emails.

  • Taking payments and managing daily cashing-up processes.

  • Ensuring the reception area is always clean, tidy and welcoming.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Must have previous customer-facing experience.

  • Strong administration and organisation skills.

  • Confident, committed, and able to work well under pressure with exceptional organisational skills.

  • Confident using the telephone.

  • Reception or Client Care experience is desirable.
