Our Advanced Operations (AO) team is responsible for the production processes for new products within our Communications business unit. We serve as the interface between R&D, production, quality and procurement, significantly contributing to the successful product launch.

Your key responsibilities:
As part of our international Advanced Operations team, you will actively shape the process development for innovative products in the field of OR infrastructure, from the first idea to the successful start of production.
In your role, you will make a significant contribution to achieving short development times, considering innovative manufacturing technologies, continuous development and optimization of our production processes.
You will independently manage projects and be responsible for the design and implementation of product-specific manufacturing processes and testing strategies.
You will support the selection of components, choose suitable suppliers, and set up the supply chain based on economic considerations.
From the first idea to the series launch, you will be responsible for the manufacturability of the product and the successful start of production.
You will work closely with interdisciplinary and international project teams and process experts from various departments.
What are we looking for?
Based on a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification, you ideally have 3 years of experience in the process development of medical devices.
You are familiar with the design of mechanical production/test equipment.
Furthermore, you are familiar with qualification and validation in a regulated environment.
You are also knowledgeable in automation, robotics and lean manufacturing.
You have excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
Your excellent communication skills in German and English enable you to easily communicate in an innovative, international, and intercultural environment.

Additional information
Thanks to our flexible working hours model, you will have the opportunity to work partially from the home office. A regular presence on site at our location (2-3 days per week) in Tuttlingen is required to build sustainable relationships and maintain personal contact with colleagues as well as the departments.
