Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to create efficient applications that align with organizational goals, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Python, Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Agno, Pydantic, TensorFlow etc.
-Experience designing and enforcing guardrails for LLMs to prevent hallucinations, ensure ethical use, and maintain compliance.
-Familiarity with agentic frameworks and autonomous agents for workflow automation and decision support.
-Knowledge of model evaluation metrics for interpretability, fairness, and robustness in regulated environments.
-Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services for AI, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search for developing and deploying AI applications at scale.
-Experience in AI application development, focusing on cloud-based AI model integration, deployment, and optimization.
Strong foundation in data science, statistics, and algorithmic modeling.
-Experience building RAG pipelines using vector databases and orchestrating Graph RAG for structured knowledge retrieval.
-The ability to build and optimize prompt templates varied use cases, ensuring consistency, modularity, and performance across AI workflows.
-Experience and/or understanding of Agile delivery model and key concepts
-Strong communicator, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
-Deep understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised learning techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
-Proficiency in feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and cross-validation techniques.
-Hands-on experience with ensemble methods such as Random Forests, Gradient Boosting (XGBoost, LightGBM), and stacking models.
-Strong grasp of probabilistic models (e.g., Bayesian networks, Hidden Markov Models) and their applications in uncertainty modeling.
-Solid understanding of data preprocessing pipelines, including handling missing data, outliers, and imbalanced datasets.
-Exposure to model governance, including versioning, auditability, and compliance with regulatory -standards.
Ability to evaluate models using precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC, and other domain-specific metrics.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Experience with database management systems like SQL or NoSQL.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
