Your Next Career Opportunity – Supervisor, Government Regulatory Affairs
Professional with solid knowledge in the areas of government and institutional relations, public affairs, and crisis management. The professional will be responsible to support the GRA function in the elaboration of key messages, legislative analysis, and public affairs action plans to engage stakeholders (Regulatory authorities, Government in all levels, policy makers, associations, communities, among others) to protect SBA´s interests. the professional will represent SBA in institutional meetings and sectorial/governmental, respecting the Company's compliance and legal rules and guidelines. To work in this position, the professional will have to act in compliance with SBA`s code of conduct and ethics and under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Creation of tailor made content and key messages to external stakeholders in order to present SBA and defend the interests of the company and sector.
- Elaboration of reports to SBA´s senior leadership: meetings briefings, public policy monitoring reports, deliverables and executive summaries.
- Preparation of presentations and briefings to be used in internal and external meetings and events. Present material to senior leadership
- Focal point for communications and political matters in SBA, supporting the Manager.
- Representation of SBA in institutional meetings with governmental and sectorial stakeholders
- Representation of SBA in public hearings with municipal authorities
- Manage the GRA area financial data and periodically update the area´s spreadsheets on Power BI and Excel.
- Lead external consultancy on institutional relations in municipalities, regional and national government
- Support the establishment of partnerships to leverage SBA´s business and protect the company´s interests.
- Ability to analyze and revise bills of law and other public policies and to understand the legislative processes in all levels: municipal, regional and national.
- Interfaces with regulators to obtain clarification and context around requirements.
- Prepare letters, memos, and spreadsheets as required to track projects.
- Conduct research on related Industry matters.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Government relations, institutional relations and/or communications.
- Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
- Domestic and International Travel 30% of the time
