Misselwood Support Assistants provide administrative and logistical support for our weddings, Misselwood Event Series and socials.  Misselwood Support Assistants will have the opportunity to work with the professional staff and clients to ensure seamless operations of weddings and events.

End Date: October, 14 2026

Rate of Pay:  $18.50 / hour

Job Description:

  • Act as hospitality host, wedding/event host and parking attendant.

Hospitality Host

  • Greet vendors and bridal parties upon arrival. 

  • Main on-site point of contact for bridal parties and vendors to ensure needs are met.

  • Ensuring Misselwood house and rooms are presentable for clients.

  • Catering needs are met.

  • Brief the Event Manager on the status of the client.

Wedding Host

  • Assist the Event Manager with any set up needs.

  • Meet and greet guests upon arrival and provide direction if needed.

  • Oversee hospitality rooms and additional catering needs.

  • Breaking down the ceremony area. Ensuring  hospitality rooms are clear and reset for the next day. 

Parking Attendant

  • Meet and greet guests upon arrival

  • Direct and guide guests/shuttles to correct parking areas

Requirements:

  • Available for training starting April 6, 2026.

  • Available to work Friday-Sunday beginning May 1, 2026 though mid October, and on occasional weekdays.

  • Available to work the annual wedding open house event on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds; physical stamina and light to heavy lifting required for various tasks.

  • Capable of following directions and being able to work a varied schedule in a team environment.

  • Candidates must be detail oriented, professional, with strong communication skills, and successfully work independently.

  • Able to work nights and weekends.

  • Ability to represent Misselwood Events and The College in a professional demeanor.

  • Must demonstrate great customer service skills, with ability to anticipate customers’ needs.

  • Have a clear understanding of guest service and appropriate attire when interacting with guests.  As well as appropriate work attire for day-to-day tasks.

  • Preferred previous event/hospitality experience

  • Preferred candidates demonstrate a passion for hospitality, to include weddings, and social events.
