This position works out remote in the Diagnostics Division.

What You’ll Work On

Primary Objective of Position

  • Provides regional business support by conducting Solution demos, facilitate pricing discussion and perform client-specific documents and updates.
  • Responsible for driving the IT implementation for Abbott Diagnostics software solutions, delivering excellent technical professional service, providing expert application knowledge, and expanding ADD business by developing existing customer accounts in the healthcare, E-Health and/or health insurance market.
  • Build and increase sales revenue through market penetration and promotion of Operational and Clinical Care Solutions.
  • Advocates the solutions to all levels in hospitals, specialty clinic, and physician's office including MD's, CIO /IT-staff, nurses and laboratory staff, Insurance Companies or E-Health Providers and Partners.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Accountable and responsible for further develop the AlinIQ Solutions delivery approach and adapt it based on clients’ requests.
  • Responsible for Landmark accounts, ensuring continuous engagement with clients and support value realization by liaising between AlinIQ Solutions commercial team and Digital Transformation team for value expansion opportunities.

Major Accountabilities

  • Actively engagement planning internally (Team) and externally (Projects and clients) and demonstrating client focus with a commitment to problem solving, providing quality and value-added services
  • Servicing Abbott clients across US and promoting AlinIQ CDS and AlinIQ Solutions as an innovative premium solution into the US market
  • Work closely with ADD regional / local sales teams and Informatics Sales colleagues to develop and profitably grow new and existing customer accounts
  • Drives Pre-Sales and support the overall Sales process by assisting in the planning of activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured
  • Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to grow ADD share for Abbott´s AlinIQ Solutions.
  • Display ability to effectively communicate through executive leadership
  • Assist in the planning of Business Development, Pre-Sales, Sales activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured
  • Supports local teams in performing software-related installation and configuration processes for Abbott´s Integrated Solutions
  • Assist in negotiating, orals and manage contracts
  • Develop and implement customer -specific sales and project plans
  • Develop and deliver presentations
  • Achieve annual sales goals of AlinIQ Solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years track record in Healthcare with an emphasis on customer facing post-sales IT support
  • Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
  • Excellent IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Healthcare and/or Laboratory Medicine
  • Good relationship building skills with excellent consulting skills
  • Service-driven, commercially-minded
  • Support in the development and presentation of proposals to sell and deliver client engagements that design, and implement business and technology solutions for medium to large healthcare providers
  • Help implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance, acts as a trusted advisor to the customer
  • Be knowledgeable about industry trends, changing market regulations and healthcare policy within defined customer segment. Understand the impact on customers and their key care-abouts.
  • Identify and map the key stakeholders and decision-makers. Research target accounts to understand performance KPIs and customer strategies. Build and preserve customer relationships to drive driving new sales and protect base business.
  • Support Negotiate contracts resulting in long-term commitments
  • Integrate insights from ongoing business analysis and assessment into a multi-year plan and influence through persuasion and personal influence an internal ‘selling’ team to develop an actionable account strategy with short-term tactics to achieve desired results
  • Coordinates appropriate Abbott resources to execute the strategic account plan including assigning roles; expectations; responsibilities and timelines; engages members of the team through ongoing communication; tactical planning and execution
  • Acts as internal advocate for the client; cultivates Abbott internal relationships and leverages to drive business objectives
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Support the sell consulting service and IT engagements that enable health care providers (from public hospitals to private integrated delivery systems) to drive cost efficiencies, operational productivity, and improve the quality of patient care delivery. He or she will work closely with a larger sales team consisting of enterprise account sales, dedicated sales ambassadors, and technical specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years Pre-Sales, Sales and/or Business Development Experience in the Hospital, E-Health, Outpatient Care, Diagnostics and/or Insurance Market.
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in IT-Project Management.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences or medical technology is preferred
  • IT-Consulting experience
  • Understands IT technology within Hospital, Outpatient Care, E-Health and Insurance Environment
  • Understanding on how technology drives value in healthcare a must
  • Strong Diagnostics experience
  • Fluent in English and 1 additional language

The base pay for this position is

$83,000.00 – $166,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
