Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team on the Modeling and Simulation Software (MSS) Infrastructure team on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program as a Systems Administrator based on-site of Schriever SFB, CO.


What You’ll get to Do:
 
The Systems Administrator primary duties include installing, troubleshooting, updating/patching, and maintenance of physical and virtualized environments, lab assets, & IT infrastructure. Candidate will provide support for hardware and software issues, data recovery, system upgrades, software upgrades, configuration issues, system installation, system hardening, STIG checks and remediation, addressing deficiencies, relocation of physical assets, and other duties as assigned.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications:

•    Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree

•    Level 4: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree

•    Experience administering and configuring Red Hat Enterprise Linux
•    Must have CompTIA Security+ with Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent certification under DoD 8570.01-M
•    Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
•    Current Active Secret clearance required to start


Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience as an administrator using Ansible, IPA/IDM identity management systems, Kickstart
•    Experience with DoD STIG interpretation/remediation
•    Experience in Virtualization technology (VMWare)
•    Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)            
•    Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory
•    Experience administering Microsoft Windows Server 2016+
•    Experience configuring/maintaining Networking Hardware (Switch, Router, Firewall)
•    Experience utilizing cybersecurity software applications
•    Experience working with vendors to expedite installations and repairs to ensure maximum uptime
•    Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps concepts
•    In-depth experience in Operations and Maintenance activities of IT infrastructure
•    Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Salary Range: $88,600.00 - $133,000.00Salary Range 2: $109,900.00 - $164,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
