Summary:

In this role, you will support consulting teams on provider engagements by conducting analyses and/or providing project management, technical or operational support.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully contribute to a variety of consulting jobs by supporting implementation of savings and/or performance targets, technology or operational improvements.

  • Collect / gather relevant data from provider source systems (e.g. patient financial, material management, decision support) or via observation and interviews with relevant provider employees.

  • Conduct analyses on spend, clinical, operational and/or performance improvement-related data. 

  • Create presentations using data and other relevant inputs (e.g., interviews) that support a hypothesis or drive an action for provider performance improvement.

  • Provide project management and administrative support to consultants and senior consultants. (e.g., Research, development of presentations, meeting preparation, task management, status report preparation, issue identification and mitigation, and tracking / updating project budgets).

  • Perform research to support provider engagement, leading practices, product attribution and new solution development.

  • Provide implementation support of savings focusing on performance targets and/or operational improvements.

  • Conduct analyses of cost, operational, financial and/or clinical data.

  • Interact with providers on specified tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree desired.

  • No prior experience required.

  • Experience in a health care setting is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Highly organized, able to meet deadlines and quickly adapt to change.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables. (e.g., Nationwide travel up to 80%, will fluctuate based on business needs.)

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $51,900.00 to $82,900.00.
