About the Role
As a Mac Support Domain Proficient, we want you to be key part of the team, tasked with improving the end user experience for Apple devices within the businessRoles and Responsibilities
Guide Apple's devices business users related to initiatives, changes and service requests in the specification of our AIA’s business requirements, performance levels and prioritisation in meeting the business outcomes.
Providing services and support to a large sized user base, on technical Mac, Apple & Jamf.
Assess vulnerability, patch information from compliance scans for Mac OS, control application and production impacts.
Automate patch and software deployment by using enterprise tools.
Key personnel in defining hardware standards, engineering and securing the standard desktop platform, implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistency with customer goals, industry standard processes, and regulatory requirements.
Share knowledge and experience in engineering for Mac OS X imaging and application packaging.
Create and maintain base images for desktop and laptop computers including the automated portion of the overall imaging process.
Proactively assist in developing patch and vulnerability management procedures and processes within the operations team, business and IT partners.
Build and maintain detailed documentation, processes and procedures.
Actively participate in operational ITIL processes.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related business, scientific, or technical field.
Must have 7 to 9 years with hybrid Mac/PC environments and administering/supporting Mac OS X (including Active Directory integration) in a medium to large enterprise.
Proficient in Jamf Pro (including Intune), macOS, iOS & Windows 10 system design, management, deployment and management.
Proficient in scripting (AppleScript, Shell, Bash, PowerShell etc) for automation.
Experience in supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Conditional Access.
Strong problem-solving and efficiently fix/diagnose complicated issues.
Preferred certifications - Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT).
Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Working experience within a fast paced BAU environment.
