Job Summary: The Sr Construction Contracts Analyst serves as the SME resource for all contract development and submission for Design, Construction, Real Estate, Facility Development, and Consultant agreements within WellStar. The Sr Analyst will maintain project data requirements as well as department data for analysis, to include corporate real estate, facility development, construction, and project controls departments of WellStar Health System. The tracking of contract data and specific workload KPIs is critical to advancing Wellstar goals. The Sr Analyst will also develop and support the RFP and Bid Analysis process when applicable. Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Lead Contract Development for Real Estate, Facility Development, Construction, Project Controls and Consulting services. - Develops contract specific details: craft, evaluate, and execute a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions. - Create and maintain relationships with vendors and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts. - Works independently on all routine assignments and strives to improve skills and problem-solving abilities. - Maintains system information/documentation for Real Estate, Facility Development, Construction, Project Controls, Environmental, and Landscaping services. Maintain and track contracts as it is related to Real Estate, Facility Development, Construction, Project Controls, and Consulting services. - Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress. - Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters. - Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself. - Escalates to AVP when appropriate. Actively support Construction Project Controls policies, procedures, and initiatives. - Attends regular departmental meetings and promote / exemplify excellent customer service as aligned with WellStars Standards of Gold. - Participates on committees and attends meetings as needed. - Participates in special projects as required. Provides advanced level reporting for Real Estate, Facility Development, Construction, Project Controls, and Consulting services for executive leadership. - Develop and provide operational metrics, and ad hoc reports to monitor project progress toward milestones and deadlines. Able to identify trends and areas of risk. - Develops reports to track cost of projects and to identify variances. Monitors cost performance to isolate and understand variances from the authorized cost performance baseline. - Support value engineering process with cost analysis and respond to requests for reports from upper management. Support/Develop RFP and Bid Analysis when applicable. - When applicable the Sr Analyst will lead the RFP process for construction and facility engineering projects. - When applicable the Sr Analyst will lead bid analysis/leveling for construction and facility engineering projects. Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree Required or Equivalent Required and Ten years equivalent work experience in Healthcare in lieu of education will be considered. Required Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
    Additional License(s) and Certification(s): Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 10 years work experience in construction contracts, project management, reporting, and support services. Required and Minimum 5 years experience managing construction contract and data analytics Required and Experience working with Real Estate, Construction Management Department, Facilities Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting and Project Controls. Required and Experience with Lawson, Strata, eBTRW, and/or Power BI Preferred Required Minimum Skills: Ability to work well in a team environment by accepting and offering constructive feedback, supporting team goals, and encouraging other team members. Ability to multi-task, complete assigned tasks independently with little to no guidance with close attention to detail, and ability to offer extensive guidance to other team members. Manage project risks and issues, develop and manage project schedules, and status reporting to all levels of the organization.
