Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires dynamic problem identification and resolution, ensuring the smooth operation of multiple interconnected components. The professional collaborates with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, while continuously analyzing system behavior to prevent potential disruptions. The work environment is fast-paced and demands adaptability to handle diverse technical challenges effectively throughout the day.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Monitor system alerts and logs to detect anomalies and initiate corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and patches to enhance performance and security.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Solarwinds Administration, Dynatrace Administration.
- Strong understanding of log management and data indexing techniques.
- Ability to configure and optimize Splunk dashboards and alerts for effective monitoring.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex system issues using log analysis and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with integrating Splunk with various data sources and third-party applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Splunk Administration.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
