Job Summary

The Service Contract Analyst performs the end-to-end tasks included in the maintenance contract renewal process for our software maintenance, SaaS and Managed Services business. This role will create and update quotes, work with team members and customers to ensure accuracy, keep systems updated and strive to improve upon processes when needed. This person will work across the organization to create and drive renewal quotes and ensure client success in completing annual renewals with the necessary purchase requirements. Key metrics for this role include preparing and delivering accurate renewal maintenance quotes, maintaining data integrity where appropriate, continuous update of company systems with latest pertinent information and ensuring that quotes are completed and corresponding PO received prior to maintenance contract expiration date.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and update renewal quotes as needed 90 days in advance of contract expiration dates.
  • Track quote/pending PO status, maintain forecast renewal amounts to include probability and timing.
  • Manage contract artifacts and assist in maintaining an accurate client database.
  • Monitor and successfully execute key business metrics such as renewal timelines, renewal invoicing and renewal completion per account.
  • Manage escalations relating to contract questions, negotiations, and requests
  • Collaborate in the development and building tools that will be used to manage all aspects of the renewal process.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2-5 years of Industry experience
  • Advanced MS Excel (V-Look-Up, Pivot Tables, If/Then Formulas) and Salesforce.com skills required
  • Experience with quoting and managing contract maintenance renewals
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting practices and billing
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships
  • Experience in managing contracts and customer base data sets for large enterprise level accounts
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience preferred
  • Effective customer relations skills including extensive follow-through ability
  • Excellent communication skills (writing, listening, phone, documentation)
  • Teamwork/collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
