We are hiring Logistics Analyst

In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

This facility will offer 1,200 local new jobs and will be the first health manufacturing facility in Querétaro (pioneers for healthcare Hub).

The Opportunity

Analyze and coordinate efficient logistics solutions through contract management, shipping documentation, and supplier coordination, optimizing key supply chain processes and identifying business opportunities.

 What You’ll Do

• Responsible for analyzing and reviewing new and potential customers' operational requirements.

• Prepare and review contracts (including solution designs, pricing and other information).

• Conduct contract negotiation with customers and suppliers.

• Act as a liaison on the operational/ infrastructure/ system requirements before and during the set-up and implementation of the agreed Logistics solution.

• Identify and explore potential business opportunities.

• Activities may include analysis, planning and forecasting in the areas of production, materials handling, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation and distribution.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (degree required).

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.

  • Management of domestic and international freight rates.

  • Coordination of multimodal transportation

  • Administration of logistics service providers (customs brokers, carriers, freight forwarders, etc.).

  • Handling and administration of shipping documentation

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

  • Microsoft Office

  • Monitoring and analysis of logistics KPIs

  • Intermediate-advanced English
