Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.

About This Role

Compass Health Center is seeking a group therapist as part of our Adolescent Mood and Anxiety PHP/IOP programs focusing on our Mental Health and Substance Use Program. At the core of Compass we believe in the power of community and connection, which is why we are committed to our group-based programming. As a group therapist, you will spend the majority of your time with our patients facilitating evidenced based groups using modalities like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We are seeking new and experienced clinicians with a passion for delivering dynamic and informative groups for our patients. If you are seeking an opportunity to provide exceptional care, we’d love to have you on our team.

What distinguishes us from other dual diagnosis programs is that we are primarily skills based and that we are not an abstinence-based program. We can tailor our program to the patient's substance goals ranging from reducing their use, to harm reduction to abstinence and helping to understand the relationship between their mental health and their use.

Introduced as our newest site in 2021, our brand new state-of-the-art facility at Oak Brook is modern, bright, and creates an inviting therapeutic space for both patients and employees alike.
