Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and innovation of our Investment Solutions & Products (ISP) business in Asia. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our wealth management offerings, leveraging your deep industry expertise to deliver exceptional results. This role combines strategic leadership, business acumen, and a passion for driving transformation in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

  • Lead and support the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance business performance, market positioning, and client value proposition in Asia.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and drive the implementation of innovative product solutions to meet evolving client needs.
  • Prepare and present high-impact discussion papers to senior leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Oversee the tracking and measurement of business performance, identifying gaps and implementing actionable solutions to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic analysis and insights related to financial reporting (P&L), product development, and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including KYC, due diligence, AML, and cross-border activities, while fostering a culture of risk awareness.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of the PFS intranet website, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for stakeholders.
  • Drive the enhancement of sales, marketing, and training tools for platforms and programs, ensuring alignment with market trends and client demands.
  • Lead the design and execution of educational campaigns and training programs to empower sales teams and clients with product knowledge.
  • Manage and optimize the product library, including factsheets, pitchbooks, disclaimers, vendor contracts, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • University education with ideally a recognized financial qualification.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of solid experience in banking industry, preferably with relevant experience in Wealth Management environment.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and banking.
  • Strong and relevant knowledge of the wealth management industry in the areas of Products and Sales Management incl. local regulatory requirements, preferably from a leading wealth management provider in Asia.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel Spreadsheet – Ability to adapt to changing technology.
  • Ability to interpret and transpose ideas into actions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Communication and Impact: convey clear information, accurately and succinctly and adjust to the audience’s needs and requirements.
