We are currently looking for experienced HR Payroll Executive for contractual basis to be based at our office at Jakarta. The primary purpose of the role is to process payroll for approximately 400 employees across business units in Indonesia. You will also be supporting all finance and audit requirements pertaining to payroll activities. Besides, your role will also include running employee engagement programs on pay related education (eg. EPF, Taxes, etc).

 

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly processing of payroll for all business units in Indonesia, ensuring 100% accuracy in timeliness & accuracy
  • Monthly processing of statutory payments to relevant authorities such as BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Tax & etc
  • Works closely with Finance Business Partner to ensure accurate monthly general ledger reporting on all payroll related transactions.
  • Ensures data accuracy between Workday & Payroll record by conducting monthly audits and reporting results to HR forum
  • Supports all internal/external audits pertaining to pay related activities
  • Provides compensation details of international assignees to Global Compensation team on a timely manner.
  • Local Process Owner for Termination Process. Ensuring final pay is calculated accurately and adhering to all local statutory requirements (eg. Tax clearance & etc)
  • Supports all HR enquiries pertaining to pay related enquiries.
  • Conducts monthly induction training on HR related topic
  • Liaison with government authorities (BPJS Kesehatan, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Tax) when necessary
  • Responsible for record management of all payroll related documentation in accordance with GSK retention policy
  • Organizes employee engagement activities to educate on pay related matters (Income tax roadshows, BPJS socialization etc)
  • Responsible to handle day to day HR Remedy tickets and handling of incoming calls to HR hotline.
  • Responsible for the processing of Long Term Incentives (Share Plan) processing and record management as per instruction received from Global
  • Responsible to work closely with Tax partners for foreign employees’ tax payment obligation with local tax authorities.
  • Manage payroll projects and process improvements.
  • Supports Business on adhoc activities pertaining to pay related matters. (example, new allowances, restructuring exercises etc)

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or equivalent
  • Requires strong analytical skills, including good written/oral communication and strong Microsoft office skills
  • At least 5 years of HR Payroll experience working in a multinational environment / shared services industry
  • Experience in Workday is highly preferences
