Job Description Summary:
Leads supply related activities for a facility to deliver excellence and integration between procurement and the team supporting facility.
What you will do:
- Leading the execution of delivering a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points.
- Managing team that is responsible for operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.
- Ensuring the supplier network is capable of meeting the specific facilities’ Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) requirements.
- Collaborating with business partners and suppliers, and resolving facility specific supplier issues.
Skills:
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Planning and Organizing, Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Quality Management: Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Basic requirements:
- University degree
- Progressive leadership experience
- Pre advanced English
Top candidates will also have:
- Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing progressive background
- Experience in managing staffing, development, and performance management
- Lean 6 Sigma and/or project management experience
- Procurement Function: Knowledge of responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of procurement function; ability to perform tasks and activities of the procurement functions or department.
Additional Information:
Limited travel required (up to 10% of working time).
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
