Engineering Program Manager, Commercial Personal Systems

Description -

As an Engineering Program Manager in Commercial Personal Systems, your role and responsibility will be 

Program Leadership and Execution

  • Spearhead and manage strategic R&D programs involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the end-to-end engineering development and implementation process for cutting-edge products or service offerings.

  • Manage multiple complex R&D initiatives simultaneously, focusing on critical technical feasibility, resource allocation, and timeline acceleration.

  • Develop and direct the creation of comprehensive schedules, critical technical deliverables, budget forecasts, and detailed resource allocation plans for R&D efforts.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Conduct rigorous data analysis on technical performance, resource utilization, and business metrics to make informed, objective determinations. These insights must be used to strategically adjust R&D priorities and resource deployment to meet product requirements and development timelines.

  • Communicate program progress, technical risks, and data-backed issue analysis to executive stakeholders.

  • Champion the use of Business Analytics and empirical data to collaborate with management and internal partners, recommending and implementing changes to R&D processes, technical roadmaps, or business practices to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to strategic goals and budgets.

  • Follow up on all outstanding technical and test points/actions, ensuring they are accurately documented and translated into actionable items backed by quantifiable data.

Technical Excellence and Process Optimization

  • Drive innovation, integration of new technologies, advanced data analysis methodologies, and quality initiatives into R&D projects across the engineering organization.

  • Manage the program to ensure strict procedural compliance, maintenance, and technical integrity are maintained.

  • Champion best practices through rigorous documentation control policies and procedures.

We're looking for talents with 

  • Demonstrated ability in applying Business or Data Analysis methodologies for technical decision-making and project optimization.

  • Business Analytics / Data Analysis experience is highly preferred.

  • Good communication skill in interacting with management team and stakeholders.
