Associate Veterinarian – Fieldstone Veterinary Center (New Fairfield, CT)
Join a lakeside practice that believes learning should be as rewarding as caring for pets.
Fieldstone Veterinary Center is a close-knit small-animal practice tucked away in the beautiful, lake-front town of New Fairfield, CT. Led by Dr. Brenner and supported by our rock-star hospital manager, Lauren, we pair high-quality medicine with a fun, collaborative culture where mentorship and laughter go hand in hand.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive full-time salary range of $100,000–$120,000, plus 20% production. Our compensation package is designed to reward your experience and contributions while supporting a healthy work-life balance.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
Built-in mentorship – Dr. Brenner and our associate, Dr. Raver, are eager to coach a veterinarian who’s hungry to grow—especially in soft-tissue surgery and ultrasound.
Modern toolkit – Digital radiography, dental X-ray, in-house blood analyzers, a dedicated surgery suite, and a separate dental table are all at your fingertips.
Flexible scheduling – We'll craft a schedule that fits you and the hospital. Some Saturday coverage (currently every other) is part of the conversation, with room to evolve as we grow.
Team-first culture – From well-trained techs to truly supportive leadership, you’ll feel set up for success from day one.
Comp & perks – Competitive pay, 401(k) eligibility, PLIT coverage, CE allowance, Relocation assistance, sign on-bonus and plenty of room to chart your own career path.
Who We’re Looking For:
A new graduate eager to learn, or an experienced DVM looking to mentor and grow
Someone excited about surgery or ultrasound—or at least willing to dive in and develop those skills
A vet who’s comfortable (or ready to become comfortable) with radiographs, dentals, wellness care, and sick visits
A great communicator who thrives in a team environment
Someone open to occasional Saturday shifts as we expand hours
If you're ready to find a place where you can laugh, learn, and love coming to work, Fieldstone could be the fit you've been searching for.
