About our Team:

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our business objectives and the various business units we serve by eliciting internal customer feedback and requirements surrounding system and process improvements. Our ideal candidate has the ability to coordinate and work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information, which will be used to improve systems and processes.

About the Role:

As a Business Analyst, you will work with business units, supporting multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality and strategic targets. The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications. The position will require 2-3 days of in-office work.

Responsibilities:

  • Suggesting feasible solutions in re-engineering the business process to enhance operational efficiency to meet desired product/business needs. Make recommendations for product and platform improvements

  • Analyzing, defining, and documenting complex requirements and business processes. Create user stories and requirements documentation.

  • Following established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development.

  • Identifying and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.

  • Developing “trusted advisor” relationship with senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.

  • Demonstrating the ability to work with others to modify or maintain a product and identify technology challenges.

  • Demonstrate experience of leading and managing multiple projects in a global-matrix environment

  • Working between remote development teams, internal IT and business to ensure requirements are being met.

  • Gathering business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.

  • Suggesting feasible solutions in re-engineering the business process to enhance operational efficiency to meet desired product/business needs. Make recommendations for product and platform improvements

  • Contributing to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs.

  • Broad technical understanding across various methodologies, platforms, tools and languages.

  • Assist in developing system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies.

Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of IT business analyst experience.

  • Be able to operate in an agile environment with an open mindset eager to learn.

  • Expertise in in Excel, JIRA and confluence required.

  • Be proficient in written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively share information with others.

  • BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required, ISEB qualified Business Analyst preferred.

  • Good understanding of work metrics data.

  • Moderate facilitation required.

  • Skilled in collaboration with diverse teams, data analysis, and clear communication.

  • Previous experience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology.

  • Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications on complex or large projects.

  • Able to use Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.

  • Suggesting feasible solutions in re-engineering the business process to enhance operational efficiency to meet desired product/business needs. Make recommendations for product and platform improvements

  • Experienced with developing screens using tools such as BasmiK or Visio.

  • Broad technical understanding across various methodologies, platforms, tools and languages.
