Reporting to the General Counsel of Towne Park, the incumbent will closely partner with the CEO of the Division, with C-level executives of the Division, with senior executives of Towne Park, and with members of the Towne Park’s Legal Department, to enable an ambitious growth strategy of the Division in the commercial parking space.

The incumbent will provide legal and compliance support to the Division, including contracts, dispute resolution, labor and employment, litigation, compliance, and other matters. This exciting role will require a versatile and business-friendly communication style to provide a pragmatic, effective, and impactful legal guidance. The incumbent will become a trusted business advisor and will be expected to provide legal guidance and input into all strategic and business decisions of the Division.

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $170,000-$180,000.00

Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible to receive annual incentive bonuses depending on their job classification and the policy guidelines.

Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan.

Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 80 hours per calendar year. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage a broad range of commercial contracts and documents, including but not limited to commercial leases, service agreements, confidentiality/non-disclosure, supplier, vendor, operations, IT, SaaS, marketing, and professional services. 
  • Institute and oversee a compliance program for the Division, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing commercial parking activities in the markets where the Division operates
  • Oversee labor and employment matters, in collaboration with the Chief Counsel, Labor & Employment, Towne Park
  • Oversee M&A activities of the Division, in collaboration with the Associate General Counsel, Towne Park

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • JD Degree

Required Licensure, Certification, etc.:

  • JD Degree
  • Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in good standing

Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • In-house experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience synthesizing information from numerous sources and communicating concise analyses to senior management.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple, competing workloads with changing priorities to meet necessary deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Authority to Act:

Performs duties independently with minimal supervision, operating from specific and definite directions and instructions. Decisions are of a routine nature made within prescribed operating guidelines, policies and procedures. Mistakes/errors may result in work stoppage, loss of business, poor customer relations and/or damage to product, all of which can have negative financial implications for the organization.

Budget Responsibility:

The employee has control over resources available only.

Working Environment

The majority of work will be performed in climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperatures on occasion.

Travel

Travel of up to 20% may be required.
