THE CHALLENGE
The contractor supports the Security Division with the day to day operational and administrative support of secured spaces. The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of security experience as a junior security
specialist. Experience SharePoint and security databases such as DISS is highly desirable. This position will assist the Security Director and Facility Manager to ensure inspections, reviews, investigations, and other reportable issues are compliant with in a timely manner. The Security Administrator will support the overall maintenance of the security program to include creating, coordinating, and implementing security policies and procedures pertaining to the safeguarding of classified information.
Primary Tasks
Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner and a high sense of integrity, working in a stressful and fast-paced environment. As a security point of contact, must have outstanding customer service and communication skills while interfacing daily with military, civilian and senior leaders and perform well in a team environment.
Responsible for ensuring appropriate security and administrative procedures are followed for entrance into secure spaces; assist in performing entry/exit inspections, visit processing, and escorting.
Provide administrative support across all functional security areas to assure the maintenance of records, files, and prepares briefings and report; these efforts include security briefings and debriefings, security training, billet roster management and reporting requirements.
Aid in conducting annual document inventories, self-inspections, staff assistance visits at Government locations; prepares courier authorization letters and cards.
Maintain Information Systems for Security and other internal personnel security databases.
Interface with government and security personnel daily ensuring a smooth flow of data exchange.
Attend meetings in support of the mission and participates in site visits as required.
Administer foreign travel/foreign contact program as it applies to office personnel; process and maintain Non-Disclosure agreements (NDAs), and SAP Forms.
Process visit/clearance verifications, update access rosters, and implement visitor and access control policies.
Perform accurate data entry and keeps information in real time, creates filing systems, scans documents into SharePoint to optimize document destruction.
Conduct daily security checks of assigned workspace.
Provide administrative support to the Security Director and Facility Manager and perform other duties as assigned within the general scope of the Statement of Work. Performs other duties as assigned in support of the mission.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of physical requirements for accreditation and processing within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs).
Provide fulltime support at the customer facility within 30 miles of Frederick, MD.
Basic Qualifications
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
Have a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility (Adjudicated within the last 3 years).
BS degree and 4+ years of security experience. Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Experience with SAPs, JPAS, eQIP, DISS, and SIMS database.
Experience in writing, editing, and managing executive correspondence.
Experience with emergency action (EA) plans and programs.
Experience-producing, handling, storing, transmitting, and transporting classified materials, up to and including Top Secret, SAP, and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Extensive knowledge and experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAP), developing security plans, and developing detailed OPSEC procedures.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, as well as a solid group contributor working in a fast-paced environment
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite tools.
Subject Matter Expertise working with and on SAP programs and materials.
