The opportunity

Join our global R&D team and help develop standard transformer accessories and components used across engineering projects worldwide.

You will create 3D models and 2D drawings, support the development of reusable engineering components, and maintain a central engineering repository. Working with international engineering teams, you will help ensure high-quality design data and alignment with global standards. You will contribute to standardization initiatives and help improve data quality within central PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)/PDM (Product Data Management) systems.

How you'll make an impact

  • Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for standard parts, accessories and components.
  • Ensure designs comply with engineering and quality standards or industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and supply chain to define component specifications as per the required form-fit-function.
  • Support factories in implementing standardized components.
  • Analyze and classify engineering part data for proper mapping and CAD preparation.
  • Support migration of legacy data into a central repository.
  • Contribute to data quality and standardization initiatives.

Your background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or similar.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling and 2D technical documentation creation in PTC Creo or similar CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Inventor, AutoCAD or NX.
  • Understanding of engineering design standards, norms and industry best practices.
  • Experience with PLM/PDM tools is an advantage, e.g. Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP PLM, 3DX or equivalent
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English and ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
