Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Manufacturing Strategy and Process organization has an opening for a Program Manager 1 located in Baltimore, MD. The organization is looking for a strong leader to work across the sector to add greater manufacturing resiliency and capacity to the sector. This role requires a strong background in industrial engineering and program/project management. This position will be responsible for developing the concept of operations for future facilities including comprehensive requirements development through management of detailed execution plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Definition of key skills, facilities and processes required to meet next generation production needs including manufacturing build efficiency and capacity planning.
Develop site concept layouts, required investments and schedule to meet future demand
Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical execution of developed facility plan
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years related experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of related experience
Facility, workforce, and/or capacity planning experience
Program or Project Management experience
Prior experience leading people, projects and/or programs across diverse technical and non-technical teams.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret or Top Secret Security clearance
PMP Certification
Earned Value, cost estimation and analysis experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
