Medicare Implementation & Training Lead

Role Overview

Equis (EFI) is expanding into the Medicare market to support agent growth, strengthen retention, and drive downstream annuity and cross‑sell opportunities. The Medicare Implementation & Training Lead will play a critical role in launching, operationalizing, and scaling EFI’s Medicare program.

This role is designed for a hands‑on Medicare professional with proven implementation experience who can bridge strategy and execution. The individual will work closely with leadership, agents, and external partners to ensure a successful Medicare rollout—while allowing EFI to remain focused on its core life and annuity business.

Key Responsibilities

Medicare Program Implementation

  • Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of EFI’s Medicare offering in partnership with external vendors (e.g., Premier).
  • Translate Medicare strategy into practical workflows, tools, and processes that support agents in the field.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Medicare operations and best practices.

Agent Training & Enablement

  • Develop and deliver Medicare training for agents, including onboarding, ongoing education, and field support.
  • Equip agents to confidently engage in Medicare conversations that may naturally expand into broader financial and annuity discussions.
  • Act as a trusted resource for agents navigating Medicare opportunities within the EFI ecosystem.

Partner & Compliance Coordination

  • Work closely with Premier and other partners who manage Medicare compliance to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
  • Ensure EFI’s Medicare activities remain compliant while minimizing internal administrative burden.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between EFI leadership, agents, and compliance partners.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Maintain close working relationships with Barry Clarkson, Rob, and other senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Leadership teams to integrate Medicare into EFI’s broader business strategy.
  • Support leadership with insights, feedback, and recommendations as the Medicare program scales.

Program Growth & Evolution

  • Identify opportunities to bring Medicare business back under the EFI umbrella from external partners.
  • Contribute to long‑term planning, including the potential transition of additional Medicare‑related responsibilities as the program matures.
  • Support leadership discussions around growth, scalability, and future ownership of Medicare functions.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and launching a Medicare program (carrier, brokerage, or agency environment).
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare products, agent workflows, and distribution models.
  • Experience training, supporting, or enabling insurance agents.
  • Ability to operate in a build‑and‑scale environment with minimal structure.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and executive presence.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working alongside third‑party Medicare compliance partners.
  • Familiarity with cross‑selling Medicare into annuity or life insurance conversations.
  • Experience in a growth‑oriented, agent‑centric organization.
  • Exposure to Integrity or Integrity‑aligned business models (a plus).
