What You Will Do:

The Training Specialist will be responsible for:

• Lead adult learners through hands-on instruction, demonstrations, and lectures

• Team teach with other instructional professionals and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

• Develop instructor-led and computer-based training for adults

• Develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training materials

• Develop courses and instructional material to educate technical and non-technical personnel. Prepares instructor materials (outlines, support materials, and training aids)

• Prepare student materials (manuals, workbooks, handouts, websites, and course critique forms).

• Exercise effective interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills

• Apply expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks

• Apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments

• Plans and lead major technology and cyber related assignments

• Evaluate performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success

• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments

What You Will Need:

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust

• Bachelor's Degree

• TWO (2) or more years of experience in teaching and/or instructing

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Masters Degree

• Experience in state and federal government
