Warehouse Supervisor

Salary: £33,253.08 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts:

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day management of a busy pick and pack operation. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed service, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and service targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies at all times.
• Deputise for the Assistant Manager or Shift Manager during periods of absence.
• Ensure all dispatched orders are accurate and accompanied by the correct documentation.
• Maintain cold-chain compliance and ensure all activities meet GDP, GMP, MHRA, and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
• Monitor operational performance, investigate errors, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure all team members are appropriately trained, competent, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support the ongoing development of warehouse staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Conduct performance reviews, annual appraisals, return-to-work interviews, and disciplinary meetings in line with company procedures.
• Manage resource planning to meet operational, financial, and customer requirements.
• Deliver regular team briefings and maintain effective communication across all departments.
• Monitor standards of housekeeping, appearance, and uniform compliance.
• Ensure accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported promptly and appropriately.
• Maintain accurate completion of operational planning and productivity reporting.
• Role model company values and guiding principles at all times.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
