As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of our Field Operations Service Team, reporting directly to a Maintenance Manager. In this hands-on role, you will provide first-level mechatronic support to our customers, ensuring smooth operation and reliability of automated systems and intralogistics equipment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on drive and control systems for automated plants and system technology.
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault analysis, including corrective actions such as parameterisation and system adjustments.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints across all supported mechatronic products.
- Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
- Hand over completed systems to customers and take responsibility for final acceptance after work completion.
- Participate in the on-call service rotation (including weekends) according to company regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with occupational safety standards, relevant electrical and SII regulations, and customer-specific safety protocols.
- Conduct safety inspections at customer sites and act as a contact person for Dematic when required.
- Provide technical instruction and on-the-job training to internal teams, subcontractors, and customer personnel.
- Support system conversions, new installations, and commissioning activities as needed.
- Coordinate with technical specialist departments to resolve complex issues and align on corrective measures.
- Be open to international assignments as required.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Completed 3-year specialised vocational training in mechatronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent practical engineering qualification).
- Practical experience in automation technology, conveyor systems, and complex intralogistics environments.
- Proven ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, mechanical drawings, and exploded views.
- Experience working in automated and high-bay storage environments is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Hewbrew language
Technical Competencies
- Solid mechanical and at least basic electrical skills.
- Understanding of BUS systems (e.g. PROFI, ASI).
- Optional: Basic PLC knowledge, preferably Siemens S7.
- Familiarity with pneumatics; knowledge of hydraulics, PC-based control, and frequency-controlled DC drives is advantageous.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve faults independently using technical documentation and diagnostic tools.
Work Environment Requirements
- Must be medically fit to work at heights (certificate required).
- Work may be performed in oxygen-reduced (OxyReduct) and deep-freeze storage environments; related medical checks and specific training will be required.
