An international organization is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal, to play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of HVAC systems for complex industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and review HVAC systems in compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including construction, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
  • Support project execution from concept through commissioning.
  • Perform technical assessments and propose energy-efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring quality, safety, and budget requirements are met.
  • Provide technical expertise during installation, testing, and startup activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in HVAC engineering within industrial, commercial, pharmaceutical, data center, or similar environments.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, equipment selection, and applicable standards.
  • Experience with engineering software and technical drawing tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a project environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English required; Portuguese is considered an advantage.
