The Sr. Product Manager for Data & Analytics builds and delivers analytics products that enable retail teams to make smarter, more profitable decisions across stores and eCommerce. This role sits at the intersection of business, analytics, and technology—translating complex retail processes into scalable data products that improve how teams design, buy, plan, test, price, and to promote to engage shoppers.

Operating as both a product owner and a collaborative leader, the Product Manager drives focused progress on a small number of high-impact priorities, creating visible momentum and confidence across stakeholders. Success is defined by a clear, well-understood roadmap, strong adoption of analytics solutions, and measurable improvement in how easily shoppers discover and buy products.

Responsibilities

· Own and evolve retail data & analytics products, including reporting, price and promotion, attribution and media mix, store testing, and audience segmentation

· Develop a deep understanding of retail business processes (current and future state), quickly mapping workflows and identifying where analytics, technology, or process changes can materially improve outcomes such as profitability, efficiency, and shopper experience

· Partner closely with stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, stores, eCommerce, and operations to ensure solutions are grounded in empathy, curiosity, and real business needs

· Define clear success metrics and Definition of Done (acceptance criteria) for analytics solutions, validating with stakeholders that delivered outcomes meet expectations and solve the intended problem.

· Build, maintain, and clearly communicate a data and analytics roadmap, ensuring stakeholders understand what is being delivered, why it is prioritized in that order, and how it supports business goals

· Lead backlog management, user story development, sprint reviews, and ongoing engagement with analytics, engineering, and leadership teams

· Maintain rigorous prioritization across competing requests, balancing near-term value with long-term scalability and avoiding unnecessary analytical debt

· Lead user discovery and design for analytics and reporting solutions, ensuring insights are intuitive, actionable, and easy for teams to adopt

· Support store and eCommerce testing initiatives, helping teams measure impact, optimize assortment, pricing, and promotions, and improve overall retail performance

· Facilitate data architecture and vendor integration decisions to ensure analytics platforms support current and future retail use cases

· Develop business cases for key analytics investments, applying disciplined build-vs-buy decision making.

· Create go-to-market plans for analytics products, including training, enablement, adoption measurement, and feedback loops

· In the near term, lead the successful delivery of key analytics initiatives while contributing to the longer-term design and scaling of the analytics delivery model and team

Skills & Experience

· 6+ years of experience in data, analytics, or product management, ideally supporting retail use cases.

· Experience in retail environments (stores and/or eCommerce) strongly preferred; exposure to B2B or small-to-medium business customers is a plus

· Strong process orientation with the ability to quickly understand, document, and improve complex workflows

· Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management and communication, including influencing without authority and aligning diverse perspectives

· Experience working in Agile environments, including writing strong user stories and defining clear Definitions of Done

· Proven prioritization skills with the ability to clearly articulate trade-offs and sequencing decisions

· Curiosity and empathy for users, paired with a strong product discovery mindset to uncover both stated and unstated needs

· Ability to translate analytics into compelling narratives that drive clear decisions and action

· Working knowledge of retail analytics domains such as price and promotion, attribution/incrementality, media mix, store testing, assortment optimization, reporting, and audience segmentation

· Familiarity with common data and analytics technologies and comfort partnering with technical teams and external vendors

· Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree welcomed
