Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager 2 to lead the Sentinel Program’s Supplier Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in Roy, Utah. This position is supporting the development of the Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Home Room, Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) Team, and Change Request Help Desk. You will lead the onsite SME Team as a member of the Sentinel Manufacturing leadership team, interfacing with other Manufacturing team members, customers and suppliers. As the lead for this team of SMEs, you will be responsible for the timely execution of supplier capacity & capability assessments, MRA’s, and responses to Suppliers changes supporting the Sentinel Weapons System, as well as managing the SME resources required to execute the SOW. The individual will have working knowledge of SME related processes for performing supplier capacity & capability analysis, reviewing manufacturing plans, reviewing the Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), assessing supplier capabilities utilizing MRA processes as defined by the DOD MRA handbook as well as having the ability to assimilate / collate the metrics for internal and customer reporting, running the S/RCI Help Desk, and removing blockers to reduce RCI dwell time.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
