Senior Payroll Specialist (fixed-term)

What can you expect?

Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for delivering superior service to our internal clients in the area of the Payroll Team. In this role, you’ll be partnering with internal stakeholders and third-party payroll vendors, having the possibility of building and developing long-term relationships with them.

We will count on you to:

  • Effectively manage the day-to-day processing of employee payroll

  • Deliver the highest quality of service in Payroll and Benefits Administration operations by executing all activities in compliance with existing procedures, legal regulations and customer requirements

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders in driving an optimal resource management strategy to retain knowledge and effective use of manpower

  • Be the first point of contact for payroll queries for colleagues in the countries you are in charge of

  • Identify key delivery areas and develop client metrics and scorecard for operational excellence

What you need to have: 

  • 2+ years of previous experience in a similar position

  • Business-oriented mindset

  • Excellent understanding of payroll processes and Greek payroll knowledge

  • University degree (preferable payroll, HR)

  • Very good command of English & Greek

  • Strong analytical and very good organizational skills, close attention to detail

  • "Client-focus" and proactive approach

 What makes you stand out:

  • Practical knowledge of payroll processing systems

  • Previous experience in a Shared Service Center / Business Process Outsourcing company

  • Experience in cooperation with third-party payroll services providers

  • Prior experience in knowledge transfer

  • Have additional language skill; French or Swedish
