We are looking to hire two (2) Warehouse Helpers based in Burnaby, BC. These are Full-time Temporary roles expected to end on August 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Helper is primarily responsible for supporting warehouse operations and preparing shared e-Bikes and e-Scooters for daily deployment. This includes organizing and staging devices, cleaning fleet equipment, swapping and charging batteries, conducting basic visual inspections, and ensuring devices are properly prepared and ready for operational use.
The role also focuses heavily on warehouse organization and inventory management, including maintaining orderly storage of batteries, chargers, helmets, tools, and parts while keeping the workspace clean, safe, and compliant with safety procedures. The Warehouse Helper will assist fleet leads and mechanics with day-to-day warehouse and operational support tasks, report damaged devices or safety concerns, and help maintain an efficient and organized working environment.
The schedule of this work is from Monday to Sunday.
Inventory and Workspace Organization 50%
Maintain orderly storage of batteries, chargers, helmets, tools, and small parts.
Support stock counts of consumables and report shortages to supervisors.
Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, safe, and compliant with safety procedures
Device Readiness and Staging 20%
Prepare devices for daily deployment by arranging them in designated warehouse zones.
Verify that devices meet operational standards (battery level, physical condition, firmware indicators).
Tag or isolate devices requiring repair and report issues to mechanics or fleet leads.
Swap (replace) batteries on devices according to deployment needs.
Plug in and manage charging of depleted batteries using designated chargers in the warehouse.
Track battery rotation to ensure healthy charging cycles and reduce downtime.
Wipe down and clean fleet devices, helmets, racks, and signage to ensure they are presentable and safe for users.
Conduct visual inspections to identify damage, wear, or malfunction before devices are deployed.
Perform light maintenance tasks such as tightening bolts, adjusting components, and replacing minor consumables as instructed.
Fleet Support 30%
Assist fleet leads and mechanics with operational tasks as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and fleet quality.
Qualifications
Must be comfortable lifting up to 90lbs
Knowledge of cell phone applications.
The hourly rate range for this position is $23.36 to $29.20 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity.
