Job Description Summary:

OhioHealth Research Institute (OHRI) is a centralized department that fosters medical treatments and enhanced patient experiences through clinical trials, sponsored programs, scholarly activity, and other programs. The purpose of this position is to provide coordination and support for OHRI Research Operations as it relates to therapeutic/interventional clinical trials, regulatory, and quality assurance needs. This position is responsible for assisting Research Directors and Managers regarding specific departmental activities with the goal of maximizing efficiency of management control systems, programs, policies, work methods and procedures. Coordinate activities for the department to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished in a timely manner. Manages complex administrative responsibilities in support of research administration and clinical trials.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Exceptional organization and time management skills. Detail-oriented person with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks. Ability to understand and communicate requirements to others. Medical terminology preferred. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database applications. High level of initiative and ownership with the ability to self-motivate. Works well independently and in team settings.
