Job Description

Based in Hong Kong office, the primary purpose is to support the Hong Kong sales teams in growing the wholesale client base. It is a strategically important role at the center of the sales function.

The role will also assist on a number of initiatives which aid their distribution efforts in other markets.

Requirements JOB DESCRIPTION

• Previous experience (2+ Years) in Financial Services preferred (Asset Management preferred)

• Interest in financial markets generally and investment funds specifically

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in Cantonese and English

• Excellent Windows-based software skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word) and ideally salesforce. Macro and/or coding is an advantage

• Must be comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders across the firm

• Significant initiative and attention to detail

Job Scope & Deliverables

• Support the sales team by working with the broader function and other internal teams to provide best-in-class service to the sales team and our wholesale clients

• Work with broader wholesale sales support team generating efficiencies, adopting best practice and providing back up

• Assisting the sales team by coordinating pre meeting preparation ie. resource and presentation requests

• Assisting sales team by coordinating post meeting follow ups ie. provide additional information on funds, running analysis etc.

• Tailoring messaging, content and presentations for sales teams to use in client engagement and obtaining necessary compliance approval

• Assist the sales team in responding to ad hoc queries in a timely and professional manner

• Support sales campaigns with market data analysis, industry research and SF analysis

• Liaising with investment specialist teams and other subject matter experts to answer client queries, perform analysis and provide additional information

• Liaising with RFP & Presentation teams on completion & tailoring of DDQ, RFPs and pitch books

• Liaising with Client Service teams to ensure client on boarding takes place smoothly and coordinated response to any queries

• Liaising with relevant parties to ensure commercial terms process is correctly followed for new clients

• Ensure the integrity of client and prospect data and records in Salesforce

• Assisting with local events and webinars as required

• Involvement in projects as required that support the APAC wholesale sales effort
