Goal of Function:
The Marketing Excellence Manager will be responsible for managing and executing key marketing excellence initiatives that contribute to the operational effectiveness and strategic alignment of marketing activities across the organization. This role will focus on supporting the development and implementation of the yearly business cycle, best practices sharing, (marketing) processes, and tools that enhance commercial and marketing effectiveness, ensuring the successful integration of global strategies with local execution.
Preamble:
The Marketing Excellence Manager will support the execution of marketing excellence initiatives across the organization. The MEM will collaborate with various departments including Business Units, Commercial Operations, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Commercial Business Services to ensure project execution within defined timelines and budgets. The role emphasizes process improvement, operational support, and the consistent application of marketing frameworks across the product lifecycle. The MEM will play a key role in the day-to-day execution of marketing governance and PMO efforts within Commercial Business Services.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategy processes, including the development and maintenance of templates and guidelines
- Manage and execute project plans for product launches, marketing initiatives, and process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to established timelines and resource allocation
- Support the creation and maintenance of governance frameworks to ensure effective execution of marketing projects
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholder & partners to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist in identifying resource requirements and support the effective allocation of resources to meet project goals and monitor project progress and report on milestones, etc.
- Contribute to ongoing risk assessment and continuous improvement efforts
- Help establish and maintain quality standards and processes within the marketing management framework to ensure successful project execution
- Participate in quality reviews and inspections to verify that deliverables meet specifications and customer requirement
- Maintain dashboards to track and share project progress with relevant teams
What we expect?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a relevant area of responsibility
- Proven experience in a project management or marketing role, preferably in a healthcare, pharma or medtech environment
- Familiarity with project management principles, methodologies, and tools, ideally within the Medical Device or healthcare industry is highly appreciated
- Personal Character Traits: Getting things done, strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization
- Understanding of marketing processes within the product lifecycle & awareness of MedTech regulatory boundaries would be a plus
- Fluent in the country language and English (presenting, writing, reading); additional languages are an asset.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in an international environment with diverse standards
