Verition’s Summer Internship Program – Treasury Technology.

 

Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Credit, Fixed Income & Macro, Convertible & Volatility Arbitrage, Event-Driven, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets, and Quantitative Strategies.

 

As part of our 10-week internship program, you’ll work closely with the Treasury Technology team to enhance your skill set and apply your studies to a wide variety of projects. Our program provides ample opportunities to learn about alternative investments, gain hands-on experience, and contribute meaningfully to a fast-growing firm.

 

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in finance, applied mathematics, statistics, business, or related field of study.
• Strong understanding of foundational statistical concepts, data analysis, and mathematical modeling principles. 
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and present findings clearly.
• Strong SQL and comfort working with large datasets;
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language (Python preferred; Java/C#/C++ acceptable)
• Nice to have:  Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, and scripting. Familiarity with ETL/data pipelines, file parsing/validation (CSV/JSON/XML), and job scheduling/orchestration concepts. Ability to write clear, testable code, troubleshoot production issues, and communicate progress.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.
• Intellectually curious, self-motivated, and collaborative individuals.

 

 

Salary for this role is $40 per hour.
