Day In The Life:

As a Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will support a variety of functions including (but not limited to) receiving, inventory management and packaging of medications. Our approach to training will enable you to grow your skillsets. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations that could include: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, Emergency Kit Preparation, Compounding, Restocking Automation and Machine Packaging
  • Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock
  • Performing physical inventories of medication

The Team:

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Our Omnicare of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, location is one of the larger Omnicare locations in the country. This site operates 24x7 serving a large number of facilities in addition to providing seamless support to other Omnicare locations. Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you’ll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company’s mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care. 

Required Qualifications:

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Skills/Experience, but not Required:

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry preferred
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Education:

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$16.00 - $28.84

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
