Team and Position Summary:
This is the team that ensures our customers receive their orders as fast as they want and where they want, in a friction-less, predictable way. Build reusable SaaS products and services that manage our catalog and power end-to-end inventory management, ranging from replenishment and fulfilment to transportation and lastmile delivery. With end-to-end inventory management, ranging from replenishment and fulfilment to transportation, they provide our drivers and partners with the tools they need to get the right items, on time, in the right packaging to customers.
Our team is responsible for Operations, Analytics and Research for the Lastmile delivery areas. We focus on creation of real-time indexing pipelines, streaming analytics, reporting and alerting frameworks. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust and reusable technical solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
· Drive the next generation Walmart Supply Chain Systems suite of products and platform by deploying highly scalable and robust cloud based intelligent solutions.
· You will use your engineering experience and technical skill to materially affect how millions of items are forecasted, sold and fulfilled every day.
· Implement cutting edge models and algorithms that operate on massive amounts of data.
· Help and participate with the teams that leverage and contribute to open source technologies.
· Make impact on a global scale.
Position Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
· Engineering with 3 to 8 yrs. of experience in CS/CSE or related field.
· Experience in Java and having hands-on experience
· Experience in SQL/NO SQL DB
· Exposure to REST based applications
· Must have exposure to Cloud technologies
· Must have system engineering skill to debug and root cause issues in production environment
· Candidate must be expert in designing and architecting small to large solution using appropriate design patterns
· Experience in developing scalable Event driven applications.
Additional Qualifications:
· Working experience in any SRE tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, APM, Log Aggregations tools and Configuration management tools.
