GCG is seeking Customer Service Assistants skilled in effectively handling passenger luggage at the check-in counter, operating the ambulift and assisting with the general handling of special needs customers.
Requirements:
Prepare and arrange counter stanchions and ropes.
Porter baggage from counter scales to conveyor belt.
Porter baggage from the security desk to counter scales.
Assist wheelchair-bound customers and customers with disabilities on arriving and departing flights.
Transport customers to & from the aircraft as directed.
Round up and securely store wheelchairs at the end of the shift
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English Language.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position or in the Service Industry.
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Able to lift weight of 40 pounds
Knowledge of the airline and/or ground handling service is desired.
A valid driver’s license.
A valid Police Certificate of Character.
