What We'll Bring:
This role will act as a key Consultant of the Data Governance team and is responsible for delivering complex cross‑functional initiatives, identifying technical gaps, driving KPI‑led processes, establishing new business processes and driving efficiency through process optimization. This role will partner and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple regions. The Data Governance Consultant will have the opportunity to partner and lead with construction and improvement of processes in TU’s OneTru platform.
What You'll Bring:
This is a remote position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities:
- Program Delivery: Manages complex initiatives with minimal oversight; excels at prioritization, making trade‑offs, and navigating change.
- Operational Process Creation, Optimization, and Execution: Ability to execute governance operations end‑to‑end—monitor and detect policy/control non‑compliance and drive corrective actions with accountable owners.
- Communication: Delivers management‑ready writing and presentations; translates technical data concepts into clear business value.
- Stakeholder & Teamwork: Influences across matrixed product, engineering, and data teams; builds trust and advances shared initiatives.
- Curiosity & Problem Solving: Maintains an explorer mindset; rapidly frames issues, performs root‑cause analysis, documents findings, and implements preventive actions with high attention to detail.
- Productization & Metrics: Improve measurement and outcomes.
- Enablement & Change Management: Publishes and socializes governance standards; delivers training and practical guides; drives adoption via office hours, stakeholder engagement, and feedback‑driven iteration.
- Data Management: Proven experience handling complex datasets (multi‑Tables; millions of rows).
Impact You'll Make:
- +5 years’ experience in Information, Financial, or Shared Services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer or industrial engineering, Information Sciences, or Business.
- Experience in fast-paced platform operations, software development, performance measuring, and continuous improvement organizations.
- Knowledge of JIRA Service Desk, Process Automation, Change Management and Agile Methodologies.
- Demonstrable ability to work independently across a matrix of stakeholders, product, engineering, and operational teams.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Technical & Operations: Proficient in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Agile/SCRUM, and JIRA; drives process improvement and automation.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
