What you’ll do  

• As EMEA GAAP by Legal Senior Leader you will provide leadership and direction ensuring the following team objectives are met 

• Analyze & Report US GAAP Legal Entity Results ensuring compliance with US GAAP @ LE level  

• Support the annual US GAAP to Stat to Tax reporting & filing requirements incl. BLP reviews, G2S2T walks, Deep Dive (CMg at LE) analytics, etc. 

• Execute LE US GAAP adjustments timely as needed e.g. CSA restatements  

• Reduce the historical backlog reduction of Statutory/Tax adjustments that truly are US GAAP LE related  

• Support the annual Stat & Tax audit cycles where appropriate. 

• Provide oversight to ensure system & contract set ups are maintained/controlled for US GAAP LE compliance  

• Support global and/or specific country US GAAP Legal Entity quality initiatives: lean projects, process improvements, upstream support, etc. 

• Provide ad hoc support e.g. customs audits, government specific audits, other misc. matters connected to LEs  

• Active collaboration with related areas to ensure efficiency in all our process and deliverables. 

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline

• Major experience in audit, accounting and/or controllership related activities  

• Process mindset with proven capability in a cross / sub functional environment   

• US GAAP and Stat & Tax basic knowledge including any audit support experience  

• Clear thinker / communicator and comfortable making proposals and decisions  

• Fluent English knowledge is essential    

• Leadership skills managing medium size teams.

• Strong understanding of Gas Power CSAs and associated accounting – consolidated & LE GAAP  

• Identify potential unusual in the GAAP books quarterly bases and anticipate corrective actions. 

• Understanding of Transfer Price concepts and other Tax related items e.g. TNMM, WHT etc.  

• Experience operating across key Gas Power financial systems e.g. Alpha, PMX etc.  

• Drive execution of all our metrics and support the team for implementing process improvements. 

• Preference will be given to current Gas Power Finance employees.
