What you will do:

  • Accompany Regional Sales Managers to reseller meetings, trade shows, and assist sales force in the promotion of JCI Intrusion products.

  • Assist Regional Sales Managers with ongoing analysis of competitor pricing, distribution strategy and markets penetration.

  • Assist Regional Sales Managers in all efforts to grow the JCI Intrusion business by specified annual quotas.

  • Assist Regional Sales Managers with initiatives related to creating awareness on new product introductions.

  • Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers.

  • Taking ownership of technical issues and providing high quality onsite support to customers.

  • May provide post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation, and maintenance of company products.

  • May provide follow-up support to customer sales staff and personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

  • Provides input to develop sales support materials including brochures, applications notes, product data sheets, competitive matrices, and technical presentations.

What we look for:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personality types and to work with minimum supervision.

  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of Low Voltage & Security Systems.

  • Assists with Beta applications, field testing, and new product market introductions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft tools - Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio.

  • Demonstration of superior interpersonal, presentational, and written communications.

  • The ability to work remotely & have a strong work ethic.

  • The ability to travel is a minimum of 50% - 60% of the time in the territory. Rarely on weekends.

This is a remote role covering Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. You must live in the territory and preferred locations are the Charlotte and Raleigh areas.
