Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Operations Manager with advanced expertise in Salesforce to support our Sales and Renewals teams. This role is responsible for optimizing Salesforce processes, owning pipeline visibility and hygiene, building insightful reports and dashboards, and driving best practices across the organization. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, with a deep understanding of sales cycles and a proactive approach to delivering data-driven insights that keep our pipeline healthy, accurate, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Management & Forecasting

  • Own end-to-end pipeline management within Salesforce, ensuring deals are accurately staged, consistently updated, and reflect real-time selling activity
  • Partner with sales leadership to establish and enforce pipeline review cadences, stage definitions, and opportunity hygiene standards
  • Build and maintain forecasting frameworks that provide leadership with reliable, real-time visibility into pipeline health, coverage ratios, and revenue projections
  • Proactively identify pipeline gaps, stalled deals, and forecast risks, and surface actionable recommendations to sales leadership
  • Develop and track pipeline metrics including creation rate, velocity, conversion rates, average deal size, and win/loss trends
  • Support deal reviews and QBRs with pipeline data, stage-by-stage analysis, and trend reporting

Salesforce Operations & Administration

  • Serve as the primary Salesforce expert, managing day-to-day platform operations and enhancements
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Salesforce reports and dashboards to support Sales and Renewals teams
  • Proactively identify reporting needs and deliver actionable insights to improve team performance
  • Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity within Salesforce
  • Establish and enforce Salesforce best practices, workflows, and process improvements
  • Support users with training, troubleshooting, and ongoing enablement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales leadership to understand business goals and translate them into Salesforce solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with RevOps, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align data and processes
  • Act as a strategic advisor to sales managers on pipeline strategy, deal progression, and forecasting best practices

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce in an operations or administration capacity
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce reporting, dashboard creation, and data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience owning pipeline management and sales forecasting processes
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipelines, and renewal cycles
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Experience managing and supporting Sales and/or Renewals teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred (additional certifications a plus)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in SaaS or subscription-based business models
  • Familiarity with forecasting methodologies (e.g., weighted pipeline, commit/best case models)
  • Experience with Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Process Builder, etc.)
  • Exposure to revenue intelligence or pipeline analytics tools (e.g., Clari, Gong, Boostup)
