PURPOSE:

Manager dedicated to supporting the e-commerce channel end to end and a member of the Americas extended finance team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES

Leadership

  • Lead the US eCommerce finance function as primary point of contact.
  • Proactively support team culture and communication agenda within the Finance function.

Core responsibilities

  • Oversee coordination, analysis, preparation, and presentation of strategic plans, annual operating plans, and forecast updates for the eCommerce channel.
  • Oversee eCommerce operating budgets; thoroughly analyze expense trends and identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Analyze monthly financial results of eCommerce channel and review conclusions with operating management. Function as main spokesperson for communicating channel financial results.
  • Perform analysis of key investment projects and promotional initiatives. Influence the direction of these projects - this will include ensuring each leadership team member is more fiscally aware of the impact of their decisions.

Business Partnering

  • Provide value adding finance and business partnering support to the head of e-commerce Americas. Additional key stakeholders: GM Americas, CFO Americas, Head of Global Godiva, Global Godiva VP Finance.
  • Strong skills in communicating complex financial analysis in such a way to enable clear understanding and facilitate decision making among a wide range of functional experts.

Other

  • Ad hoc support to North America Finance leadership team/General Manager.
  • Participation in building capabilities and culture of Americas extended finance team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in CPG or Food Industry.
  • B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • Experience coaching and developing finance professionals.
  • Advanced analytical skills and experience harnessing technology to share insights and information.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand alone and influence both up and down within and outside the organization.
  • Build from scratch mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate.
  • A drive, commitment and sense of urgency that inspires others to be their best and achieve results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, D365.
