As the Manager of Business Process and Change Management within the Digital Supply Chain team, you will lead a team of Business Process Analysts (BPA) and Change Managers in bringing change to organizations through the analysis, design and implementation of business processes, and Change Managers (CMs) in ensuring successful team member adoption of changes introduced by ground-breaking programs. You will collaborate with process sponsors, owners, stewards, and team members to implement, manage, and improve processes in support of Micron and Global Supply Chain (GSC) critical initiatives resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness.

 

A major area of focus for this role will be to lead, manage, and mature the global Business Process and Change Management team in the development, improvement, implementation, and adoption of processes and procedures for sophisticated, Micron-wide business planning analyses and decisions.

 

What’s Encouraged Daily:

  • Direct Business Process and Change Management resources:
    • Direct resources, including prioritization and project assignment
    • Refine and improve team operating model, tools, and methodologies
    • Ensure clear communication and roll-up to the PMO office
    • Mentor, coach, and develop Business Process Analysts and Change Managers
  • Lead, coach, supports the Business Process and Change Management Centers of Excellence (COE):
    • Supervise the development of COE engagement models and drive continuous improvement
    • Scale the building of business process and change capability throughout the GSC organization
  • Lead Business Process and Change Management coordination in support of the GSC Portfolio
    • Identify business process requirements and change management needs for transformational programs, and coordinate and supervise support
    • Review new requests for team support and triage to operational or roadmap backlogs
    • Support and improve Digital Supply Chain Operating Model
  • Support Micron’s Global Quality Organization:
    • Coordinate and support internal and external ISO/IATF audits of GSC business processes globally.
    • Ensure the business processes within GSC are managed in accordance with all requirements included with Micron’s Global Quality Business Process Management Standard.
    • Support and coordinate effective problem-solving efforts as customer/operational events arise related to GSC (8Ds).
  • GSCNow Product Owner:
    • Facilitate GSCNow Change Control Board meeting to cover new enhancement requests and prioritize.
    • Coordinate with IT and ServiceNow to ensure enhancements have the required support, communicate status of features on our enhancement roadmap, and partner on ServiceNow upgrades.
    • Ensure appropriate communications/trainings are provided to GSCNow team members as changes occur to the platform.

 

How To Qualify:

  • 10+ years proven track record to build and lead teams or projects from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites  
  • Adept at helping team members harness and develop strengths in pursuit of successful performance outcomes  
  • Proven problem-solving, decision making, and solution creation skills  
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and facilitation skills - works effectively with cross functional teams and fights against silos. Builds strong relationships with key internal and external customers based on trust and confidence  
  • Knowledge of the business – understands not only the processes in a functional area but also how the processes fit into the system of processes as well as how they align to the company’s strategy and key priorities 
  • Analytical – Analyzes customer needs and various situations, and proposes structure and direction to move forward 
  • Comfortable working with all levels within the organization, business process sponsor, owner, stewards, collaborators, and subject matter experts 
  • Knowledge of process management using RummlerBrache methodology and possess a process management approach 
  • Tenacious – continues to be persistent in driving business process management approach and driving business value 
  • Innovative – Drives business process work by looking at ways to be innovative with what we do and how we work. Looks at processes from an end to end as well as detail views 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience  Or Supply Chain Management  Or Production Operations Management (POM)  Or Industrial Engineering  
  • Certifications in Business Process Management and Supply Chain Management helpful
