What you will do 

Perform the inspection of sprinkler-based systems, and complete service calls and repairs on sprinkler-based systems. Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements. Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner. Must be willing to travel.

How you will do it 

  • As a sprinkler Service/Inspection fitter, you will efficiently and neatly perform work on wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems. 
  • You will maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
  • You will be provided verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices.
  • You will carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs and be capable of performing physical labor.
  • You will perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
  • You will maintain a clean and safe work area.
  •  You will have a positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly. 

What we look for 

Required 

  • 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyperson status
  • Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision 
  • Strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude 
  • Capable of performing physical labor 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Valid Driver’s License with good driving record 
  • Ability to work well with others 

Preferred

  • Backflow certification
  • Fire Pump training
  • Inspection Test and Maintenance course
