We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact, strategic projects within our fire truck manufacturing operations. This senior-level role is critical in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes by delivering complex, large-scale initiatives that enhance operational excellence, product quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, advanced project management expertise, and the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams toward achieving organizational goals.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Strategic Project Leadership: Drive large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, goals, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and executive leadership to align on project objectives.
  • Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, balancing project priorities, and ensuring teams have the necessary tools and support to succeed.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality and safety standards.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while meeting financial targets.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to monitor progress, drive insights, and adjust project strategies as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Executive Reporting: Provide high-level reporting on project status, outcomes, and impact to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for future initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field and 5+ years of experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
  • Experience managing budgets and financial performance metrics.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations.
  • Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and ERP systems.
  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume production environments.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects with significant business impact.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Split time between office settings and the manufacturing floor, with exposure to machinery, noise, and dynamic production environments.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for supplier coordination, site visits, or customer engagements.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when critical project milestones or deadlines require it.

Pay Range:

$102,800.00 - $176,800.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
