Job Summary
Work with manufacturing team or end customer to bring out a best packaging solution to meet value stream requirement. New Model launch metrics such as Safety, Quality, Velocity, Cost and Sustainability.

What You Will Do
•    Understand the facility requirement like material storage, handling, material flow and POU to arrive on packaging solution

•    Input collection for Packaging Solution, packaging solution development

•    Packaging Validation and CFT review

•    Cross functional team (Logistics/Operations/Mfg Engg/Quality etc.) discussion and alignment for project implementation

•   Governing and meeting new model launch metrices, score card etc.
•   Leading design approval meetings and conducting proto validation to get sign-off from stake holders.
•   Packaging Improvement for Cost reduction and sustainability and NPI

Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
 

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods, ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Provides effective technical solutions to routine functional challenges via sound technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.
•    Applies current procedures and technologies to help resolve technical issues in one's general area of technical competence.
•    Helps others solve technical or procedural problems or issues.

Computer-Aided Design & Engineering: Knowledge of tools and techniques of specialized graphics programs; ability to produce, analyse, simulate and test product design drafts.
 Level Basic Understanding: 
•    Describes common drafting conventions, tools, procedures and processes.
•    Identifies basic functions and features of a CAD/CAM system.
